Racine Named Bath Savings Board Chair
Bath Savings President & CEO Glenn Hutchinson has announced the election of William (Bill) Racine as Chair of the Bath Savings Board of Directors, replacing Kevin Burns who retired earlier this year. Additionally, Erik Hayward was elected Vice Chair.
A resident of Bath, Racine joined the board in 2014. He is a CPA who worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Berry Dunn before starting his own practice in Bath. He serves on the boards of RSU1 Education Foundation and Wolfe’s Neck Farm Foundation.
“Bill’s business background and community involvement have made him an asset to our organization,” said Hutchinson. “We’re grateful for his guidance as we approach our 175th year in business.”
Replacing Racine as Vice Chair is Falmouth resident Erik Hayward. A trustee since 2017, Hayward is Executive Vice President at The Libra Foundation, as well as President of Libra Future Fund, which awards grants to Maine-based business start-ups.
Board members are selected from the bank’s Corporators and live and work in the coastal communities that Bath Savings serves. The trustees assist with a range of policy issues and general oversight of the bank’s business.
