Bath Savings Institution (BSI) President & CEO Glenn Hutchinson announced the appointment of Katie Spiridakis as the organization’s marketing officer. In her new role, Spiridakis will manage BSI’s marketing functions, including advertising, brand strategy and public relations.
“As we enter into our 170th year of business, we are excited to expand our marketing department and welcome Katie Spiridakis to the team,” Hutchinson said. “Katie is an experienced professional who exhibits the principles that we value here at Bath Savings. Her expertise and community involvement will be an asset to BSI.”
Spiridakis, a Bath native, brings nearly two decades of marketing and communications experience to her new role. She was marketing and communications manager at Maine Maritime Museum for the last seven years, and prior to that worked as editor at a Vermont-based publishing company. Spiridakis has served on the board of the Maine Tourism Association, the Marketing and Branding subcommittee of Bath’s Economic Development Committee, and Main Street Bath’s promotions committee.
“Bath Savings is an iconic Maine institution, and I’m thrilled for the opportunity to join this passionate and community-focused team,” Spiridakis said. “I look forward to supporting BSI’s continued growth into the organization’s 170th year and beyond.”
