Vice President/Trust Officer - Bath

In 1989, Bath Savings Trust Company was founded on those same principles and has become a respected leader in the financial services market and a trusted partner in the community. The Trust Officers at Bath Savings Trust Company take time to listen and learn about what's most important to our clients, creating customized strategies to help them grow their portfolios and plan for retirement. Bath Savings Trust Company is looking to add an experienced, customer focused financial professional to our exceptional team of Trust Officers.
As a Trust Officer, your primary responsibility is the development of quality client relationships and the enhancement of existing relationships. You will participate in the overall administration of client accounts and recognize additional business opportunities from existing clients. You will maintain business and community contacts to expand Trust Company opportunities and positively promote the image of Bath Savings Trust Company.
Educational Requirements
- Equivalent to college degree. Duties require a broad knowledge of Trust and investment terminology, policies and procedures. CTFA, CFA or CFP preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- A minimum of three to ten years of progressively responsible Trust or investment experience to be proficient in all phases of assigned duties.

Loan Servicer II - Bath
You will have telephone and direct contact with customers and other Bank employees and be expected to assist them in a prompt and professional manner. It is expected that you will implement and carry out Bank policy and procedure with respect to all functions and tasks performed.
Your primary functions will be keying new consumer and mortgage loans, processing note amendments, opening new credit card accounts, reviewing exception reports, performing corrections and manual adjustments as needed, and discharging paid notes. You will be expected to answer customer inquiries and provide research support to other customer service personnel. You will provide assistance to lenders and staff with regard to loan servicing issues and act as liaison between the Bank and agencies in the completion of your duties. You are expected to perform your duties in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read/write English and understand instructions.
- One year of banking experience or equivalent.
- Skill in business, finance and/or accounting preferred.
- Capable of performing accurate data entry, transaction processing, account maintenance and inquiries using a variety of software.
- Able to prioritize tasks, exercise good time management, good judgement, display initiative and work under minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical ability and attentiveness to detail.
- Demonstrates abstract thinking.
- Knowledge of general banking and lending practices beneficial.
- Ability to operate and utilize general office equipment, and learn new technology.

Deposit Operations Clerk II - IRA/HSA Administrator - Bath
As a Deposit Operations Clerk II, you will be required to exercise some independent judgment under moderate supervision. You will be required to complete all aspects of IRA and HSA account administration, remain compliant with all applicable laws and regulations, monitor and code account transactions appropriately for reporting purposes to the IRS ensuring proper documentation has been received, and complete customer communications with regards to retirement and health savings accounts as necessary. You will be responsible for other Deposit Operations duties as necessary.
