Bath Savings Celebrates Employees, Named Best Place to Work
Bath Savings celebrated employee accomplishments and named 20 staff members “All Stars” at the annual employee celebration held on September 6 at Sebasco Harbor Resort. During the event, President Glenn Hutchinson announced that Bath Savings had been named one of the “Best Places to Work in Maine” for the 10th consecutive year.
More than 160 employees gathered to celebrate the bank’s success over the past year. Twenty Bath Savings staff were recognized with the All Star Award, a peer-voted award celebrating team members who best define the bank’s core principles of exceptional service. This year’s All Star Winners are: Estina James, Alexis Brinkler, Heather Meeks, Jenny George, Sarah Snow, Julie Chew, Jamie House, Jackie Allen, Bill Mills, Furaha Bahunde, Janessa Williams, Brittany Gilliam, Lindsey Jones, Rayanne West, Kevin Lewis, Kevin Salonen, Marianne Hargreaves, Andi Bernier, Stephanie Wilhelm, and Joe Tardiff. The Geoff Gattis Leadership Award was presented to Jean Libby. Alexis Brinkler, Samantha Roma, and Marianne Hargreaves were presented with Neighbor to Neighbor Awards in recognition of their commitment to community service.
During the event, Hutchinson announced that the bank was once again named one of the “Best Places to Work in Maine,” a distinction awarded to only 100 organizations in the state. Companies from across the state entered the two-part process to determine the Best Places to Work, which includes an evaluation of workplace policies, practices, and demographics, and a survey to measure the employee experience.
“We are so proud to be chosen as one of the Best Places to Work in Maine for the 10th year in a row. The success of the bank is thanks to our hard-working staff who consistently go above and beyond to provide the exceptional service that Bath Savings is known for. We are a wonderful place to work because of our incredible team,” Glenn Hutchinson said.
